How fabulous is this?

I was very lucky to have my Great Grandma Addie until she was almost 102. She was with me all my life until just beyond college.

I was the youngest of the great grands and she always made me sit on her lap even though she was a tiny thing. When older I would put my weight on my own legs and not her lap without her knowing.

We had weekly Sunday dinners together and rides in the car with me on her lap. I still have the doll she made me out of her handkerchief.

She was a very special lady and I love her so much.

Her pictures are in my bedroom along with my parents.

I hope you were blessed enough to be so close to your grandparents.

The memories are with me forever!
